Primo Piano LivinGallery is a contemporary art gallery, based in Lecce, Italy. Since it was founded, the exhibition schedule has continuously brought to Puglia a variety of international artists, together with the most interesting and innovative type of contemporary art, screenings of video art, conferences, meetings, workshops with recidency, performances, exhibitions.

Short description of programme

The Primo Piano Atelier is a space dedicated to instruction in Printmaking, specialising in engraving and intaglio, both traditional and experimental techniques. For each session you will learn about various procedures related to the drawings, preparation of plates or matrices, the choice of paper, ink, the printing, numbering, the signature and the stamp. The programs is a haven for creative rejuvenation and intensive focus. The classes are enriched with special seminars and lectures on the works displayed in the adjacent rooms. Meetings with artists to discuss the critical technical aspects, current trends in both the art world and (importantly) international art schools, and also the most important contemporary trends in art theory and criticism.
