“Steph’s acoustic folk rock style and warm stage presence, makes this accomplished artist a treat to behold.
I’ve seen Steph move audiences with her authentic beauty and inspiring truth. ~ Join us!”
– Gabrielle Senza

Stephanie Campbell began performing at the age of 12, her debut was in a play at the Qualters Middle School in Mansfield, MA. She was cast as an extra and was instructed to make up a line or two that she could recite during the performance. Instead of speaking the lines, Steph decided to sing a verse from the song My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music. The musical director was so impressed by her talent and well, let’s just call it chutzpa, that he didn’t stop at one verse, he kept going and before she knew it, sang the song from top to bottom. She knew exactly where she belonged after that evening, on the stage.

As a performer, Steph has shared the bill with some of the top local musicians in the Berkshires, including Vikki True, Linda Worcester and Mark Kelso. She has been on the stage with David Roth, David Grover, Bob Weiner, Robert Sean Leonard, Jon Suters and Matt Kelly. And has been fortunate enough to play several gigs with Matt Oestreicher amongst other fine musicians. Steph has been writing songs since the age of fifteen. She is a storyteller and speaks candidly about her journey when she sings. Her honest songwriting has the ability to penetrate your soul on the spot. Although hearing her smooth bluesy vocals is a treat, seeing her on the stage is where the whole package becomes complete.

Wherever Steph goes, she has her guitar strapped to her back, ready to sing to anyone who will listen. She attended Dean College in Franklin, MA where she studied Music/Theatre/Dance. She is in the process of completing her first book – Stuffing Myself Silly, The Story of a Food Junkie which will be in print in 2010. The book will include a CD featuring one of her original songs.
